Die Wagner Tiefkühlprodukte GmbH wird rund 45 Millionen Euro in das neue Werk investieren, das direkt neben dem Tiefkühllager im Gewerbepark Nonnweiler entstehen wird. Rund 70 Millionen Pizzen sollen in der neuen Produktionsstraße pro Jahr gefertigt werden, was die Gesamtproduktion von Pizza Wagner auf etwa 350 Millionen Tiefkühlprodukte jährlich steigern wird

The mission of the Nonnweiler municipal authority is to be a site for initiatives and innovation and to consolidate its significance as one of the leading industrial sites in the northern Saarland. The provision of almost 3,500 jobs in a population of 9,500 reflects this mission, as does receipt of the award of "business-friendly municipality" in 2003" from the Trade and Industry Ministry of the Saarland.
